This is my go-to smoothie, and my toddler twins love it too. My goal with all green smoothies is to reduce the fruit and increase the greens over time. This smoothie is a gentle introduction to having greens in your fruit smoothie. Enjoy!
Makes 2 Large Servings
2 large ripe frozen bananas
1 cup pomegranate juice, or almond milk
1 heaping cup frozen blueberries
1 heaping cup of frozen strawberries, or mixed berry blend
1 – 2 cups frozen spinach, or baby kale
¼ cup frozen pineapple
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1. Place all ingredients in a high powdered blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
